Refecture Studio — CGI and motion production: a Houdini and Redshift pipeline with AI inside it, not next to it.

Indie by design: a small core, assembled per project from artists we have worked with for years — you get exactly the specialists a shot needs, not an agency payroll. Founded by Stanislav K., who spent years as an independent artist inside production pipelines.

Why hand us the project

Technical
depth

What actually changes the outcome — not a list of adjectives

01
Houdini and VEX are not a common skill

Most motion work stops where procedural work begins. Simulation, custom VEX setups and rig-free procedural geometry mean shots that would be hand-keyed elsewhere are generated — and regenerated after a note without starting over.

Depth
02
Revisions cost hours, not weeks

Because the scene is procedural, a change of length, format, product colour or camera is a parameter, not a rebuild. That is what keeps late-stage client notes from breaking the schedule.

Flexibility
03
You talk to the artist, not an account layer

No producer relay, no brief distortion between the call and the timeline. Technical questions get technical answers the same day.

Access
04
Full pipeline in one place

Modelling, FX, lighting, rendering and comp under one roof — no handoff losses between vendors, one person accountable for the final frame.

Scope
05
AI is used heavily — and deliberately

Claude, Midjourney, Nano Banana, Kling and Seedance sit inside the pipeline, not next to it: concepts, boards, previs, texture and cleanup passes are generated in hours. That is where a large part of the cost saving comes from — the final frame is still finished by hand in Houdini and Nuke.

AI
06
An asset library that lowers the bill

Years of in-house assets, rigs and procedural setups get reused — a large share of the scene exists before the project starts, so you pay for the part that is genuinely bespoke.

Cost
07
Contracts without paperwork friction

Registered sole proprietorship with a qualified digital signature: agreement, invoice and closing documents signed remotely, in a day, from any country.

Process / five stages

How a project runs

Fixed checkpoints — nothing surfaces at the last minute

  1. Brief

Scope, format, references and deadline. Short form or the detailed brief — whichever fits.

  2. Approach & estimate

A written approach to the task with a shot plan, timeline and fixed cost.

  3. Previs & look

Blocking, camera and a look frame — direction is locked before production time is spent.

  4. Build & render

Modelling, FX, lighting and rendering with checkpoint reviews at agreed stages.

  5. Comp & masters

Comp, grade, sound sync and masters in every format and aspect ratio you need.

Scope, format, deadline — that is enough to start. First reply comes with an approach to the task, not a price list.
